KERALA  TULU ACADEMY  

Thiruvananthapuram:Cultural department of  Kerala  

government,  reconstituted KERALA  TULU  ACADEMY,

 an  academy   formed for  preserve,protect  and  

promote  Tulu  art and culture.Sri. Punichithaya world

 famous artist  will be  the new chairman.   District collector 

 will  be  the  Treasurer of  the  Academy.  Beside  

Sri.P Karunakaran M .P ,Sri Abdul Razak MLA , 

there are  15  members in  the  board of  members

.Sri. Balakrishna  Shettigar Headmaster  GHSS  Uppala 

will be  the new  Secretary  of  the  Academy.The  secretary

  and  board of  members  will  take charge  of  the  academy

  in  the  second  week  of  July.

GHSS UPPALA VIDHYARANGA

        UNIT     INAUGURATED

Uppala:Vidhyaranga unit of  GHSS  Uppala  is  inaugurated on 29-6-2017  by veteran musician  Sri  Krishna kumar  Teacher  GBLPS   HEROOR .The  function  was  presided  by  School  Headmaster Sri Balakrishna Shettigar . Smt. Padmavathi  teacher  GHSS Udyawara  was  the  chief guest.   Staff secretary  Rafeeque  sir,  SRG Conveeners Smt Ranjini Mandyan, Sri. Premarajan,and Smt.Jiji, greeted the  function.  Smt  Malathi Teacher gave  vote of thanks. Sri  Muhammed  Sali  sir  senior  Assistant organized  the  function. 

   VAYANA WARA   CLOSING FUNCTION

Uppala: Vayanawara  closing  ceremony  is  held  at  GHSS Uppala on  29-06-2017. Sri.  Mohammad  Uppala gate  inaugurated  the  function.In his  speech  he  briefed  the  importance  of  reading.The headmaster  Sri. Balakrishna Shettigar B  presided the  function.Prizes  are  distributed  to  the winners of various  competitions held  on this program me.Sri  Sathyan Master veteran music key board player and teacher of GHSS Mangalapady  released the copy  of  students booklet on  notes of  reading. Smt.Manju Narayanan welcomed the gathering  and  Sri. Muhammed Sali sir moderated  the  function.

After month long Ramzan, students celebrated EID MUBARAK  and as the  part  of  EID MUBARAK

students  are given special Payasam at  GHSS UPPALA.

Uppala: Vayana    Dinacharane-  to observe the death anniversery  of  veteran  social activist  Sri. P N Panikar  is  held  at  GHSS Uppala.  In  the school  assembly  Headmaster  explained  the  importance of  the  day.  

        X-STUDENTS CLASS PTA MEETING  HELD

Uppala:   Class  PTA  meeting of  sslc  students  is  held  today  at 10 AM.

Sri. Ashraf  Pta  president  inaugurated  the  meeting.He  requested  the  parents

to  see  their   children   at  home  and encourage  the  students  to  study  at

  home.  Headmaster Sri. Balakrishna  Shettigar  presided  the  meeting.

Sri. Muhammed Sali  Senior Assistant, Smt. Sheeba  Banu, Smt. Anjusha,

gave guidance to parents. Smt. Shobha Teacher, Smt. Manju Narayanan 

 Smt Jaya James, Sri. Mohanan  PET also present.    Smt. Priya C.H teacher

               WORLD CHILD LABOUR DAY OBSERVEDAT      GHSS UPPALA

UPPALA: June  12- is observed  as  world child labour  day at  GHSS Uppala.

Students  of LP section    took  a  procession    arround  the  school  with  slogans  and  Playcards  against  child labour.All the  LP  section  and  UP  section  teachers  participated  in  the  programme.

Smt. SUNANDA TEACHER JOINED  AS  HEADMISTRESS OF  GMLPS UDYAWARATHOTA

 Uppala:Smt. Sunanda Teacher  on  her  promotion  as headmistress  joined  as headmistress  at GMLPS Udyawarathota.  Headmaster  and Staff  gave  her  a  befitting  send-off party.  All  the  staff  members  wished  her a great success  in her new assignment.Staff secretary  Rafeeque sir  welcomed the  gathering.

The  headmaster  presided the  function. Sri.Premarajan, Sali master,Manoj sir, Smt Malathi teacher,Smt.Veena teacher,Smt Ashwathi  teacher praised her  for  sincere and  dedicated  service in  the  school.Smt.Ranjini teacher gave vote of thanks.

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY OBSERVED AT GHSS UPPALA

Uppala: The  students of GHSS Uppala celebrated   world  environmental day  2017  at  school.

        In the school  assembly  a pledge  is  taken  by  all   the  students  that  they  will  separate  the  organic waste  and undissolved  inorganic  waste .  The  headmaster  remembered  them  that the  earth is  existing  for  more  than  millions  of  year  and  it  must be  here for  millions  of  years. Old students  of  the school  gave  a plant which  is planted by  headmaster and Mangalapady Panchayath member sri. Mohammed.

Uppala: School Praveshanothsava 2017 is  held with very  grand  and  colourful   programme  at GHSS  UPPALA  on  1-6-2017.

       The  programe   was began  at  10-15.  All  new  comers  are  entered  the  school  premises  with  a  colourful  procession,all  the  students  and  teachers  welcomed  the  new  comers  with loud  applouse  and  clapping. Sri.Balakrishna  Shettigar,  Headmaster  welcomed  the gathering  in  the  school  assembly.

In  his  speech  he  congratulated  the  parents  for  selecting  GHSS Uppala  for  giving  education  to their  beloved  children.

He  promised    the  parents  that a good  and  qualitative  education  will  be  given  to the  children by  the  Teachers  with motherly  love  and  kind care.

     Mangalapady  panchayath  member Sri.Mohommed   inaugurated  the  function  by  giving  Bags  and  Umbrella  to  all  first  standard  students. PTA  president  Sri.Ashraf  presided over  the  function.
